Coventry City’s League One clash with Sheffield United was marred by protests from home fans against the club’s owners, Sisu.
Twice fans held up play by running on the pitch to protest – firstly in the opening half, and secondly in the 86th minute, which saw the players taken off the pitch and play stopped for six minutes.
The interruptions were the latest in a growing line of protests against the Sky Blues owners.
The club, who have been without a manager since September – Mark Venus remains in interim charge – continue to struggle in League One, currently sitting in the relegation zone.
Let’s hope a solution is found soon for these fans.
