One of the biggest clubs in Germany has agreed to be interviewed for our investigation into fan ownership in football.
Despite having to get up at an ungodly hour to interview Borussia Dortmund, the project has managed to land a very exciting (and big) interview.
German football (and in many other aspects of German life) are ahead of England. On cheaper ticketing, liaising with fans and remaining deep rooted in their heritage whilst being successful all over the world. Most football fans have a soft spot for Dortmund because of everything they represent: unity, passion and a togetherness almost forgotten in the global riches of the Premier League.
Engagement with the fans, owning part of their club, the Germans do it so much better as you will find out from the interview.
More will be revealed this week!
